Interested in Sponsoring our State Convention?

A large part of what we do is only made possible through the generous funding we have received from fellow Democrats in office. This year, such donations will go towards our annual Lobbying Days in Annapolis and Washington, D.C., our annual Spring State Convention, and our website launch. These plans, as you can imagine, end up costing a great deal – but we believe they are worth it in order to meet our goals to keep college students involved in promoting a progressive agenda in Maryland.

We believe that College Democrats are going to be essential to keeping the Blue Wave strong in 2018, especially in Maryland where we look to take back the governor’s mansion, hold onto a U.S. Senate seat, defend our General Assembly majorities, and elect Democrats in local races. Our federation wants to work to with campaigns to ensure our chapters and members are making phone calls or knocking doors to help elect Democrats in the state of Maryland.

College students from across the state will gather for our Annual Spring State Convention at the University of Maryland Baltimore County on Saturday, May 5th, from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Our State Convention is held every year to elect our new Executive Board for the coming academic year, hear from Democratic officials, and plan for ways to get involved in the upcoming year. In order to make this event and any future events possible, we rely on the donations of fellow Democrats like yourself. This year we still have available sponsorships available and would greatly appreciate any support you could give. Below are the levels of sponsorship, the cost, and the benefits it would provide.

The State Convention is a great opportunity for you to continue engaging college students to help get involved with your campaign. Our program will be given to every student at the State Convention and e-mailed out to every College Democrat who was unable to attend.

We hope that you will be able to join us in our cause by donating to our organization. We sincerely appreciate any and all amount of support you are able to provide. If you would like to become a sponsor for the 2018 State Convention, please collegedemocratsofmaryland@gmail.com with your intended sponsorship level and whether you would like to pay online or by check. Please let us know if you are able to help our cause by sponsoring our event by Sunday, April 29th. You can donate online at www.paypal.me/CollegeDemsMD.

Please keep in mind that you are welcome to contact us at anytime or attend our events to see exactly how your donation is being spent. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our organization’s President, Ryan Kirby, at 443-789-9877 or rkirby7@students.towson.edu or our Treasurer, Carissa Antonis, at carissa.antonis@gmail.com.
